There are few photographers residing in the UK, more experienced at photographing Prague than Robert Canis. Over a period of 5 years, he visited Prague on no fewer than 40 occasions and several to Cesky Krumlov, photographing for his agents and his own library, as well as providing articles for magazines, one of which featured in Outdoor Photography. As a result, there is no one better to personally escort you around to photograph the ‘The Golden City’ and the equally beautiful Cesky Krumlov.
Those who think they can simply get a cheap flight, book into a hotel for a few days and go back home with the kind of images that grace books and calendars are quite frankly, living in cloud cuckoo land!
Although Prague is not a big city, it is incredibly easy to get lost due to the myriad of cobbled, medieval lanes and alleyways and all the while you are struggling to find your bearings and reach your destination, you could be taking pictures.
Robert will be on hand from the moment you arrive, greeting you at the airport and transferring by minibus to your hotel. He will escort you to all the best locations that Prague and Cesky Krumlov have to offer. You will photograph atmospheric scenes of bridges crossing the River Vltava, spires at dawn and castles at sunset, with the added option of night-time photography.
Three nights will be spent in Prague and one in Cesky Krumlov, a stunning medieval town with UNESCO World Heritage status, 120 miles south of Prague, set amid the hills and forests of south Bohemia. At both locations, we shall be staying in very comfortable 3-4 star accommodation, single occupancy, based in the centre, so we are right there for those early starts. And, should you wish to take a stroll by yourself, there will be no need for you to worry about getting a tram or metro.

Suitable for those of all levels and numbers will be limited to just 4 persons, enabling Robert to spend lots of time with each, something impossible to do with larger groups. It also makes for a more friendly environment in which to photograph, relax and discuss the day’s events.
Price = £675
Price includes: Transfers by private minibus from and to Prague airport (specified flights only), hotels (single occupancy), breakfast, metro and tram fares, transportation by private minibus to and from Cesky Krumlov.
Price does not include: Flights, insurance, meals not mentioned and snacks
How to book
To receive a booking form please contact Robert here or alternatively click here to download one. To book your place Robert requires a £100 deposit which can be payable either by cheque or Paypal. The latter will secure your place as soon as Robert receives the funds but will still require the completed booking form as soon as possible. This is a very useful method since should you be sending a cheque along with the form, it may take several days to arrive thereby delaying your booking. Full payment can also be made by this method.
Remaining balance to be settled at least 21 days before the workshop date. Robert will confirm receipt of this by email.
