Photography Workshops
Camera Club Workshop |
|
For groups
Date at your discretion
Ideal for camera clubs or any other group that would like to learn more about photographing plants and insects.
Over the last few years Robert has been increasingly asked whether he does outdoor workshops for camera clubs. This was usually asked by a club member after giving one of his talks and not something which in the past he would actively advertise. However, due to their growing popularity, he thought it was about time he made them more widely available.
The workshop consists of a single day held over a weekend or weekday commencing at 10am till approximately 4pm. It will be held at one or possibly two locations though these and the dates are entirely flexible to suit your members.

Being a professional freelance photographer gives Robert this freedom. However, to maximise picture potential he would advise mid May to August and/or mid October to mid November.
Robert prefers to work with small groups of no more than 7 so that everybody benefits from his extensive knowledge and experience. He will demonstrate the thought process and technical aspects of making an image and throughout the day will be on hand to give 1:1 advice, something which would be impossible to do with large groups.
Should your members know of a good spot(s) for the workshop he will be more than happy to travel there. Robert's prior knowledge of the location is not strictly necessary. This has worked well in the past when some clubs prefer not to travel too far though all locations he chooses are within Kent.
Total cost for the day is £175 which excludes lunch.
To be clear, this is the total group cost, NOT per person, so if there are 7 it will only be £25 per person. Robert is more than happy to do two days should your group exceed that number. |
